Why NOT just use AI to draft legal documents for free?
ExpandAI is great for many things, but using ChatGPT, Claude, Bard, or any other AI models to draft legal documents is a big mistake.
First, despite all the advancements, it still frequently makes tons of mistakes, hallucinates, and mixes up nuanced legal concepts, so the quality and accuracy of the work it produces is highly unreliable, which is certainly not acceptable for critical legal documents.
Second, the vast majority of legal documents contain highly sensitive, private information, which is not something you want to share with ChatGPT, Claude, Bard, or any other AI models. In fact, all publicly available AI models explicitly advise you not to share sensitive, private, or confidential information. There are countless other reasons why you should not use AI for legal documents, but these are some of the most prevalent.

Are Docsquire documents templates?
ExpandNo. Docsquire does not rely on static templates.

How accurate are Docsquire documents?
ExpandDocsquire documents are built using structured legal logic and proven drafting frameworks designed to produce consistent and reliable results based on the inputs/answers provided.
However, users should still review documents and consult an attorney when necessary for specific legal advice.
How long does it take to create a document?
ExpandThe time it takes to generate a document depends upon the document type. Many documents can be generated in 15 minutes or less, however complex documents may take longer depending on the number of decisions and inputs required.
What types of documents can I create with Docsquire?

Can I edit documents after generating them?
ExpandAs long as you have an active, valid subscription, or, with respect to individual purchased documents, are within the access period, you have the ability to edit and regenerate the applicable document(s).
Once a subscription is not longer active/valid, or access has expired, you will no longer be able to edit the document. Completed documents, however, will remain for download from your dashboard.
Do I have to live in a certain state in order to use Docsquire?
ExpandNo, you do not have to live in any specific state to use Docsquire. Since documents are generated dynamically based on your answers, they are tailored to meet the requirements of the applicable state.
How often are Docsquire documents updated?
ExpandDocsquire documents are constantly updated to reflect changes in applicable law, and to address any new and/or emerging issues in applicable subject areas.

How does pricing work?
ExpandDocsquire offers two ways to access documents:

Do you offer free trials?
ExpandNo, Docsquire does not offer free trials. Docsquire delivers access to structured legal documentation rather than simple downloadable content.
Providing unrestricted trial access would undermine the value of the platform and allow users to generate and retain complete legal documents without committing to use.
Can I purchase a single document instead of subscribing?
ExpandYes, select documents are available to be purchased individually. However, the same document may also be offered as a part of a bundle subscription that provides access to many documents, and may provide a better value, so be sure to review all available options.
What’s included with a subscription?
ExpandSubscriptions provide access to a bundle of documents during the active subscription period, depending on the selected plan.
How long do I have access to a document after purchasing it individually?
ExpandAccess to individually purchased documents is provided as follows:

- Drafting: You will have an unlimited amount of time to start and complete your document. During the drafting phase, you may save your document and come back to it later.
- Completion/Editing: Once you generate the document, you will then have 72 hours to make edits to you document in case you need to make modifications and/or correct errors. Once the editing window closes, you will no longer be able to make any edits or changes to the document. If you saved the document to your dashboard, however, you will always be able to download the finalized copy.
Can I switch between a subscription and individual document purchases?
ExpandNo, you cannot switch between a subscription and an individual document. However, you may have a subscription and also purchase individual documents at the same time.
Subscriptions & Billing
Can I cancel my subscription?
ExpandYes. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time.
What happens after I cancel my subscription?
ExpandAfter cancellation, you will retain access to your subscription until the end of the current billing period.
Will I lose access immediately if I cancel?
ExpandNo. Access continues until the billing cycle ends.
Does Docsquire issue refunds?
ExpandNo, neither subscriptions nor individual document purchases are refundable.
Docsquire provides immediate access to legal workflows and document generation. Once access is granted, the value of the service has been delivered, making refunds impractical.
Platform and Use
Do I need legal experience or knowledge to use Docsquire?
ExpandNo. The platform guides you through each step, and provides explanations of concepts and terms.
Can I access Docsquire on mobile devices?
ExpandYes. Docsquire can be accessed from modern mobile web browsers on smartphones.
Can I save progress and return later?
ExpandYes, you can save progress and return later to a document for as long as you have an active subscription or access to an individual document.
Can multiple people collaborate on a document?
ExpandYes, collaboration is possible when information needs to be obtained about multiple parties.
Can I share my account/purchase with someone?
ExpandNo, you may not share your account or any document access with anyone. Attempts to share accounts or document access are subject to account termination/deactivation.
